mining

Installation

M-Command supports the following operating systems: 

  • Mac OS X 10.7.5(lion)
  • Ubuntu Linux 12.04(32bit, 64bit)
Installation packages are available for both operating systems, and users would be able to install MCMD on systems with slight variation of the OS versions listed above. The software can be compiled and installed from the source code for installation in other OS. 

    Mac OSX

          Download the latest dmg package of MCMD from http://sourceforge.jp/projects/nysol/releases/.
       The file name follows the format of "mining-1.1-x86_64-darwin.gem" ("1.1" is replaced by the latest release version will be indicated in the format "1.1"). 
Install the package by typing the following at the command prompt (Replace the file name with the file downloaded)
$ sudo gem install mining-1.1-x86_64-darwin.gem 
 
   Ubuntu Linux

         Download the latest mining gem file from http://sourceforge.jp/projects/nysol/releases/ The file name follows the format exemplified below ("1.1" is placed by the latest release version).
  • 32bit environment: mining-1.1-x86-linux.gem
  • 64bit environment: mining-1.1-x86_64-linux.gem
Install the package by typing the following at the command prompt (Replace the file name with the file downloaded)
$ sudo gem install mining-1.1-x86-linux.gem


    Install by compiling from source code

Follow the steps below to download and install the latest MINING software from git server. 
$ git clone http://scm.sourceforge.jp/gitroot/nysol/mining.git
$ cd mining
$ make
$ sudo make install
